An old, silent, black and white horror movie pertaining to God dying?

I don't remember to name, and I don't even think it was a movie, per
say. It was highly disturbing (from what I saw of the pictures, and
read of the description), and it was extremely old. Silent (from what
I gathered), black and white, and there was a scene of a woman(?) in a
chair in a corner, possibly the "God" of the situation, and it died.
Whatever it was, it died.
It was known for being gruesome (ish) and very just... chilling. It
has a Wikipedia, and that's about all I know.
